Raw Sterling Silver & 24k Gold Brutalist Ring

This OOAK (one of a kind) ring is the stuff of dreams.
I can honestly say that it is my absolute favorite piece I have ever made: It is big, raw yet sophisticated and utterly unique. Regardless of the impressive size, the ring is very comfortable to wear.
The ring is made out of sterling silver.
I have then oxidized the ring to bring out the contrast between the gold and silver. The oxidation has a nice variation in shades from gunmetal to blackest black. This ensures that it will go with almost any outfit 🙂
Deeper textural elements feature 24K gold gild applied by electroplating technique. This technique has been around for many centuries and results in the strong bond of a layer of 24k gold to silver.
The ring is in my signature fan shape and is gorgeous on the hand. It has a nice weight to it and makes the hand look slender.
It has the right balance of texture and shine, organic and geometric shape to make it a truly haute couture piece.

It is slightly adjustable as it is a wrap ring. Current size is 9US but it can go up 1-2 sizes or down about 1/2-1 size. In terms of size, it is quite forgiving and easy to adjust, even by yourself.

Please note that the oxidation may fade in time depending on how you care for your ring. But, not to worry – each comes with easy at home oxidation process that involves no special chemicals or equipment (you will need a zip lock bag and a hard boiled egg :)). Also, if you treat your ring as an old fashioned wrist watch (take off when in contact with water (swimming, showering, washing hands or dishes etc) and don’t put creams or perfume on it), the oxidation should last a long time!
