This stunning pendant necklace has been hand forged in brutalist style. Though we made it as men’s good luck charm necklace, Italian Cornetto, it is a great gift for anyone who loves raw, high quality jewelry.
It was entirely handmade – from melting the silver to forging the shape – so each piece is one of a kind, made just for you.
The shape draws on Italian good luck charm called cornetto or Italian Horn. It has been used since antiquity to bring fertility and good luck to the wearer as well as to protect against evil eye.
What sets our take on this ancient amulet appart, is the modern interpretation of the design, adding to the masculinity of the piece. Shape, along with the size – it is longer than most cornichellos offered – make it look very modern.
A true handmade work of art, we take it a step further to offer personalization. Considering the small surface, the personalization can be up to 4 characters long. By default it will be horizontal, but you can request it to be vertical (letters one under the other). The letters will be stamped on the back of the pendant but, as the pendant is double sided, you can chose to show it off or not.
-width: 3/16” (~4mm)
-height: ~2.25” (~6cm)
-polished sterling silver
-oxidized sterling silver
-gold gilded sterling silver (a layer of gold over sterling base)
-up to 4 characters, best suited for initials. The personalization is hand stamped. It is horizontal, but you can request it to be vertical (letters one under the other). Please note that hand stamped letters may not be perfectly straight, as that is the nature of the medium. Enter details during checkout through contact form.
-chose of 30”, 24”, 20” or 18”
You can chose the length of the chain from the options available, however, if you buy only the pendant, the bail will take chains or cords up to ~ 1/16” (2mm) in diameter.
Our chains are high quality rolo chains made in sterling silver with link diameter of ~2mm making it present but minimalistic. In the 6th photo, you can see what different lengths would look like on the body.
•Care: as with all silver jewelry, you should not wear it when in contact with water, specially if you are swimming in a swimming pool. When not worn, keep your necklace in an airtight container, such as ziplock bag. This will prevent oxidation.
